1.TERM & CONDITIONS
In these conditions ‘the seller’ means Lotiss Ltd and ‘the buyer’ means the person or company placing an order for goods or services, which are subject to these terms and conditions. These conditions of are agreed in writing – any similar expression includes electronic communications whether sent by e-mail, fax or other means.
Before making your Order, please ensure that you have read these Terms and Conditions carefully. If you are unsure about any part of these Terms and Conditions, please ask us for clarification.
Consultation – The initial consultation is usually used to understand and agree with the scope of work, provide design advice and take accurate window measurements to be able to provide bespoke products such as shutters, blinds and fabrics and soft furnishing. Please note, we are not able to provide you with a Quote based on measurements supplied by the client.
Quote – A full quote detailing the cost of each item including installation/fitting will be provided. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
The purchase price for any goods ordered by the buyer will be subject to VAT at the prevailing rate. A legally binding contract between Lottis Ltd and you will be created upon our acceptance of your order, indicated by our Order Confirmation. Order Confirmations will be provided in writing. On signing the order the buyer is liable to the 60% of the purchase price of shutters, blinds and curtains including soft furnishing with the balance due upon completion of the work.
Upon completion of the work a written invoice will be provided which details each item, the deposit paid and the final balance to be paid. All goods remain the property of Lotiss Ltd until payment is received in full.
Failure to pay the balance upon completion of installation will result in an additional 50% of the fitting charge being charged to the buyer.
In the unlikely event of an unsuccessful fitting, we will credit the amount not fitted to the buyer and re order outstanding goods with the balance due prior to completion of the work.
Payment can be made by cash, cheque, bank transfer, debit or credit cards payment. All orders paid for using a credit card will be subject to an additional 2.5% charge to the overall price of the transaction.
At the time when the quotation is accepted and deposit paid, we will provide you with an approximate installation date. A confirmed fit date will be given as soon as the company is in receipt of the product.
Our products are bespoke and made to the requirements of our customers. On occasions, there may be unforeseen delays to the timescales outlined in this section.
The customer is responsible to clear out direct access to the window and window sill, so fitting can be carried out without delay. Failure to clear out objects within close distance to the window may result in additional time for installation as well as additional cost.
All our products are custom made to the specifications agreed with you at the time you accept the quotation. They are not suitable for resale or reuse. It is therefore very important that you are sure of your purchase choices before placing your order. The buyer cannot change or cancel the order once accepted by the seller if the goods ordered are manufactured
Cancellations and changes can only be made for a period of 24 hours after you have placed your order. All cancellations and changes made during this period will be subject to an administration charge of 5% of the total value of your order. We will deduct this administration fee from your deposit and refund the balance to you.
Lotiss Interiors will not issue refunds or credits for cancellations or changes outside of the first 24 hours. Therefore, the full deposit collected at the time of your order will be forfeit.
The seller may cancel the contract if the price quoted becomes uneconomic, or if the goods or the finish contracted for becomes unavailable.
On very rare occasions, there may be delays caused by factors beyond our control. These include, but are not limited to, third-party manufacturing issues (e.g. out-of-stock materials, factory delays), shipping delays or weather conditions. In the event of a known delay, you will be contacted and informed immediately.
Lotiss Interiors reserves the right to reject any order at its discretion.
We guarantee that for a period of 12 months from the date of installation, the Goods will be free from material defects. This guarantee is subject to the exceptions listed below.
Our guarantee does not apply to any defects in the Goods caused by:
In unforeseen circumstances, products may arrive with some various defects or damages. These will be covered under the warranty specified for each period and will be replaced as such. The lead time for which is the same as outlined in article ii. We can not offer partial refunds for damages out of our control and still within the warranty period.
The seller gives no warranty as to the fitness of the product supplied for any purpose other than that of an internal window dressing as surveyed by the Lotiss Ltd. Other installation positions and uses are undertaken at the risk of the buyer. The seller cannot guarantee precise colour matching against samples. The products are made from a natural material. Minor imperfections not readily apparent at a distance of four feet under ordinary light will not be accepted as defects. Colour matching of finishing products (eg paints and stains) cannot be guaranteed although every reasonable effort will be made to ensure the accuracy of the finished product. The seller cannot guarantee the goods against fading especially as a result of exposure to sunlight where some fading will occur. The goods are not guaranteed against extreme damp or variable conditions.
In line with safety regulations – please note that all our goods are always supplied with child safety devices which should remain fitted to avoid any risk to babies or small children.
Lotiss Interiors will ensure the privacy, confidentiality and safety of the personal data of our customers. We only collect the minimum information necessary to provide a response to your enquiries and deliver our services. Examples of data collected are a name, address, telephone number and email address. This information may be disclosed to authorised third parties in order to process your order.
Lotiss Interiors will not rent or sell your personal information to any other unrelated company, or individual, without your express permission.
Lotiss Interiors may use your email address to send you special offers and discounts. Your email address will never be used or shared with other organisations or individuals, without your express prior consent.
Your financial information, credit or debit card details will not be stored at any time in our database. Financial information is promptly disposed of in a secure and safe manner.

These Terms and Conditions, the Contract, and the relationship between you and Lotiss Ltd is subject to the law of England & Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
